Henry "Hank" Hatch grew up poor in the Noir City Burrough Gravenhage. Hank worked hard to get good grades in High School so he could get a scholarship to college. Every day after school though, he made his way to the Gravenhage neighborhood known as Little Beijing. There he trained with a Martial Arts master in countless forms of defense as well as mysticism. As he grew to adulthood, he attended Crown University where he earned a Masters Degree in Architecture, after graduation he started his own design firm and became a Billionaire by the time he was thirty, having designed most of the most identifiable buildings in Noir City, and made some very sound investments.
Always remembering his roots, he did his best to inject funding into urban renew across the city, especially in Gravenhage. But one night on a visit to his mother he witnessed a young boy shot to death by drug dealers. Deciding that his funding wasn't enough to make a change by itself, he decided to devote his life to protecting those who can not protect themselves. Returning to his martial art training, and became a master of arts both martial and mystic, taking on the mantle of The Jade Panther.
Yeah, believe it or not he's based on a character I made up when I was like eight. Of course then he wasn't a martial arts expert, and he was basically a Batman ripoff, and his costume wasn't anything like this, but anyhow. . . I was really pleased with how he turned out. I had trouble figuring out exactly how to make the ears look so that he was The Jade Panther instead of The Jade Panda, or The Jade Batman, or The Jade Yoda. But I like what I finally came up with. Also I was glad to introduce a character into my group who wasn't a WASP.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Any pics in my gallery that look good are because God shone through. Any that don't are because I wasn't listening to Him.
