Why is it I love drawing and yet I only find time to do a pic, like once a month at best? Why is it that I love writing but I've only completed two chapters of the book I started writing about 2 years ago? Why is it that I like reading but I seem to take a really long time to finish reading a book? Why is it that I like to take walks but I'm sitting on my couch?

So I know a lot of my friends on here are pretty faithful followers of Christ,and so I thought I might put this request for prayers up here. On Thursday I found out my Dad has cancer in his throat. They're pretty sure they'll be able to get it all, and they say there's not much to worry about, but even so, if some of you guys could just keep him in your prayers I'd be very greatful. So, I'm a member of the 501st Stormtrooper Legion, working with a small squad in Idaho. For those who don't know the 501st, it's a Bad Guy Star Wars Costuming group specializing in community service and working with charity groups to help raise money and bring attention to these groups. We here in the local group are talking about putting together some coloring pages to give to kids at events. And some of us thought it might be fun to see if we could get some cool coloring pages drawn by amateur artists to give out to kids.
So I thought I'd put a notice up on here, asking any interested parties if they'd be interested in donating a drawing. We'd be looking for coloring pages so black and white with not a lot of shading or detail (I guess we all probably know what a coloring book looks like). And of course they'd need to be Star Wars characters. There'd be know official process, just let me know if you've got one. Anyhow, thanks so much to anybody who'd be interested. So by having Memorial Day off, I was able to install my printer on my roommate's computer. Print out the shipping labels to send back the parts of my computer that're being replaced by the warranty company and scan, print-out, ink, color, re-scan and upload 4 pics that've been sitting around for the past few days. Still a few more to go pictures left to scan. First off we will have one more picture to close out "New Hope" The first chapter my "Star Wars as a Western" series. Then I have the pic I drew of Vaganbondx's Silver Rose, and a couple of original characters I've drawn, which hopefully will be the first couple of many as I start to create characters for my own comics universe (which may actually be at least 2 separate universes)

I'm gonna' concentrate a bit on that for a bit, but soon I think Marshall Vader will "Strike Back."

Just to let the several of you know. I've finished a couple other Star Wars as a Western sketches and am waiting to get the replacement parts to fix my laptop to scan them in and then do the inking and coloring. I'll hopefully post them soon!!! Coming soon, an Old Retired Ranger, a Gunslinging Outlaw, and of course that greatest of all Western Hero archetypes, a British Butler!
